Around 7:30 a.m. tour starts at hotels to go to the clients choice: Hanging Bridges or Safari Float.

Over 2.5 km of trails through rainforest, 15 bridges from 5 to 100 m long and some over 70 m high. This trail is full of flora & fauna and amazing views of the Arenal Volcano.

La Fortuna Waterfall
Back to La Fortuna the tour takes ahead for the waterfall by car; a view of the 70 m high waterfall and a 600 m hike to the natural pool at the base. Later on, drive back to La Fortuna for lunch.
- Arenal Conservation Area
At 3:00 p.m. tour continues to the Arenal National Park, here the tour guide will talk about the natural and geological history of the volcano, the tourist could hear the sounds the volcano makes in the distance, or cross a path of solid lava from 1992 and enjoy an excellent view over the volcano and Lake Arenal.
- Tabacón Hot Springs
Leaving the park the bus will take the tourist in a 20 min ride to the Tabacón Hot Springs, here they can enjoy the relaxing baths and waterfalls. At the end of the day, before driving everybody back to the hotel, a delicious buffet dinner at Tabacón.

CAÑON NEGRO TOUR
The Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge and the Rio Frío are biological humid areas considered to be one of the richest in biological diversity in Costa Rica. Here you can find a great variety of resident and migratory birds .Some birds are residents in the area and it is possible to see hundreds of them especially during the dry season. Caño Negro has the largest colony of cormorants in Costa Rica.
Along the river we can see howler monkeys, spider monkeys, white-faced monkeys, also the three-toed sloth and some reptiles like caimans, Jesus Christ lizard and turtles.
This trip includes a typical Costa Rican lunch, regional fruit, natural juices and coffee, all served for our client’s comfort at our new Restaurant Río Frío; canned drinks, natural juices, bottled water and cookies are also included during the boat tour.

ARENAL VOLCANO HIKE & HOT SPRINGS
The Arenal Volcano is active since 1968, it constantly ejects gases, water, fumaroles and explosions with pyroclastic material emissions, and sometimes the eruptions are accompanied with powerful thunders.
The ash is carried by the wind over long distances especially to the northwest area of the volcano. The biggest and heaviest material falls close to the crater.
A short hike in one of the trails close to the volcano area will give us the chance to enjoy some forest and the activity around it.
At the hot springs our customers can enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak, it is also possible to see the Arenal Volcano erupting from a comfortable spa.

ARENAL VOLCANO HIKE TOUR
Before the active period of 1968, a lavish canopy of vegetation covered the Arenal Volcano.
Enjoy the most extraordinary view of the Arenal Volcano on a gentle Hike along the base of this marvelous “Mountain of Fire”.
The Hike begins in one the trails close to the volcano, Trail, this trail will take us through the forest over recent lava flows and the area destroyed in 1968 now in the process of regeneration. We are going to be on this trail for about 2 ½ hours.

HORSEBACK RIDING TO LA FORTUNA WATERFALL
A beautiful example of the Costa Rican country site will be found along the way, cattle farms and agriculture, also the chance to see some birds as oropendolas and tucans.
After that you have to walk five hundred meters into the forest to get to the waterfall, which is 70 meters high.
At the base of the waterfall there is a “natural pool” where we can swim in the fresh water of La Fortuna river for about one hour.
